Long Island stripper sues doctor after he pursued restraining order over their alleged affair

Rosnana Kissoon has filed a lawsuit against Dr. Keith Hoerning, claiming he promised to leave his wife for her and then sought a restraining order when she disclosed the affair.

In a Suffolk County Supreme Court filing, Rosnana Kissoon, a 39-year-old stripper, accuses Dr. Keith Hoerning, a 51-year-old family physician, of beginning an affair in late 2024 after meeting at a Long Island strip club. She says Hoerning bombarded her with calls, texts and money, professing love and pledging to leave his wife. The relationship continued until Kissoon informed Hoerning’s 34-year-old wife, Nicole, in May 2026, after which Hoerning allegedly sent a cease-and-desist letter and later approached police to have Kissoon detained, claiming she threatened violence.

Kissoon’s lawsuit seeks more than $1 million in damages, citing loss of employment, counseling costs and emotional distress. Hoerning’s attorney, Bruce Barket, characterizes the suit as a baseless extortion plot, while Kissoon’s lawyer, Michael Treanor, argues she has done nothing illegal beyond the relationship. The doctor’s side claims to possess texts and voice recordings that prove the allegations are false.
