Maesa Magic launches 2027 incubator offering $35,000 grants and mentorship to diverse beauty founders

Maesa Magic, the incubator behind brands like Kristin Ess Hair and Being Frenshe, announced its 2027 intake, inviting three founders of emerging beauty or wellness companies to apply by Aug. 7. Winners will each receive $35,000 in no-strings-attached capital and join a hands-on mentorship network that includes Brian Bordainick of Starface, Brian Sugar of Popsugar, Olamide Olowe of Topicals, Shai Eisenman of Bubble, and Tomi Talabi of The Black Beauty Club.

Participants will also attend the “Winning the Agentic Consumer” executive program at Emerson University, held at the Harvard University Faculty Club. Maesa Magic focuses on entrepreneurs from underrepresented groups—women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, differently abled, seniors, and low-income backgrounds—who generate less than $1 million in yearly revenue and have products already on the market. The incubator tailors support by pairing founders with internal design or sales teams based on the specific areas they need help with. To date, the program has distributed $315,000 to nine founders since its launch in 2023.
