Maharashtra releases MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 1 seat allocation today

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra is set to announce the Round 1 seat allotment results for the 2026 MHT CET on its official website today. Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology courses at eligible colleges can view their allotted institute and branch by signing in with their application ID and password. Allocation decisions were made based on exam scores, category reservations, chosen preferences and current seat vacancies.

Successful applicants must confirm their seat online, remit the admission fee and present a full set of documents—including scorecards, merit letters, academic marksheets and identity proofs—at the college between August 3 and August 5. After Round 1, the CET Cell will release a list of remaining seats on August 6, and the option entry period for Round 2 will run from August 7 to August 9.
