Manchester United star urges club to secure Rashford before new season starts
Amad Diallo told MUTV that Manchester United must add Marcus Rashford to the squad before the 2026/27 campaign begins.
Following United's draw with Paris Saint-Germain, Amad Diallo appeared on MUTV urging that Marcus Rashford be included in the squad before the 2026/27 season kicks off. Diallo listed Cunha, Martinez and Mainoo as other players set to join the group in Dublin. Rashford arrived back at Carrington on Sunday and traveled to Ireland with the squad, but is expected to miss Wednesday's pre-season clash with Leeds United.
His first minutes this season may be against AC Milan on Saturday. While his £40 million release clause expired in July, a move away would require a new deal and Rashford has expressed no interest in joining clubs from Turkey or Saudi Arabia. He remains contracted to Manchester United until June 2028.
Why it matters
United fans want clarity on Rashford's role as the club prepares for the new season.
