Marc Benioff-backed June aims to simplify AI rollout for enterprises

June emerged from stealth with a $20 million pre-seed round led by Marc Benioff’s Time Ventures and supported by investors including Michael Dell, Aaron Levie and George Kurtz. The founders—Efrat Rapoport, Ohad Hen, Barak Goldstein and Idan Tsitiat—previously built Bonobo AI, which Salesforce acquired before they left to address the growing difficulty of embedding AI into existing enterprise stacks. June’s platform analyzes a firm’s current systems—Salesforce, ServiceNow, DataBricks, Workday and others—to pinpoint data redundancies and workflow bottlenecks, then produces a detailed implementation roadmap.

Users can trigger the building of AI-powered processes directly from the interface, reducing the need for costly forward-deployed engineering teams. Paul Akinmade of CMG said the tool gave his team clear deployment guidance after weeks of stalled integration with Salesforce. Rapoport positions June as a complement to consultants, but its ease of use may allow companies to bypass external engineers altogether.
