Mason Falslev, a 24-year-old guard, will cap his five-year tenure at Utah State with a senior campaign under third-year coach Ben Jacobson, as the Aggies debut in the Pac-12. Starting as a redshirt freshman in 2023, he has navigated four coaching changes and contributed 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game in his junior year, earning Mountain West Player of the Year. Jacobson retained senior Karson Templin, a longtime teammate, and two redshirt freshmen while adding new players, leaving one roster spot open.
Falslev, known for his defensive intensity, aims to develop as a combo guard, handling the ball more and shooting more three-pointers after a solid 39% rate last season. The team will open the 2026-27 schedule with five home games beginning Nov. 2 against Idaho State, hoping his growth can help fill the scoring gap left by departing leading scorer MJ Collins Jr.
