MasterCraft equips new pontoon models with CarPlay and Android Auto integration
MasterCraft Boat Holdings will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on its upcoming Crest and Balise pontoon boats, using the Savvy Navvy navigation app.
MasterCraft Boat Holdings revealed that its forthcoming pontoon offerings from the Crest and Balise sub-brands will include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features. The onboard infotainment will run Savvy Navvy’s dedicated marine app, delivering detailed charts, 2D and 3D views, intelligent route planning, and the ability to locate marinas, harbors and anchorages. Additional functions such as live ETA, nearby vessel traffic and location sharing are also built in.
Savvy Navvy CEO Jelte Liebrand noted that customers can plan trips on a couch and have the route ready once aboard. Purchasers will gain access to Savvy Navvy Premium for extra capabilities, and the system can be connected through a wired link or Bluetooth. While the integration launches on the 2027 Crest and Balise models, the app is compatible with other marine head units as well.
