Microsoft hikes Xbox console prices in Europe by up to €200
Microsoft announced that Xbox hardware will cost significantly more in the EU and UK, with increases of up to €200 or £170 depending on the model.
Microsoft disclosed that its Xbox lineup will see its highest price increases yet in the European market, with some models climbing by as much as €200 or £170. The flagship 1TB Xbox Series X with a disc drive will now sell for €799.99/£669.99, up from €599.99/£499.99, representing a more than 30 percent hike. The entry-level 512GB Xbox Series S will cost €499.99/£429.99, a rise of over 43 percent from its previous price.
Other revisions include the 1TB Xbox Series S moving to €599.99/£519.99 and the digital 1TB Series X to €749.99/£619.99. This marks the third round of price adjustments since May 2025, driven by soaring RAM and storage costs linked to AI industry demand, and the 2TB model is being phased out.
