Mike Pence warns November midterms are pivotal as socialist candidates gain ground

Former Vice President Mike Pence told a radio interview that the upcoming November midterm elections are crucial, pointing to a recent surge in socialist candidates such as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

In a recent appearance on WABC’s “Cats & Cosby” show, former Vice President Mike Pence declared the November midterm elections to be of utmost importance for the nation. While acknowledging commendable actions by the current presidential administration, he criticized both parties, saying Republicans have strayed and Democrats have “lost their minds.” Pence cited the rise of socialist candidates, beginning with Zohran Mamdani’s victory as New York City mayor after defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo for the Democratic nomination, and noted similar trends in Colorado, Maine and Michigan, as well as the heightened profile of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

He emphasized his commitment to reviving conservative values through his nonprofit Advancing American Freedom, stressing the need for strong defense, limited government, and traditional morals. Pence also referenced the upcoming Missouri primary where former Democratic Representative Cori Bush seeks a political comeback. The comments come as he continues to push the Republican Party toward his vision of conservatism.
