Mobile hearing clinics to serve schools across the Midwest region
Teach Speak Hear and Ear Foundation Australia will operate a bus delivering hearing screenings and therapy services to schools in the Midwest.
A partnership between Teach Speak Hear and Ear Foundation Australia will launch a traveling clinic that visits regional schools to provide hearing examinations. The initiative also includes coordinated care from occupational and speech therapists. Over the next three years, the service—named the Buranymarda Marugundi Program—will operate in towns such as Yalgoo, Mount Magnet and Meekatharra.
Why it matters
