Mother Uses Gas Pump to Repel Armed Intruder Threatening Child at Georgia Station

Footage from a Shell gas station in Marietta shows a shirtless, barefoot man named Jerahn Tucker attempting to grab a child from a parked car just after midnight. The suspect opened the rear door where a younger child sat while the older child ran around the vehicle. The mother, whose name was not released, grabbed a gas pump and used it to push Tucker away, creating space for the child to re-enter the car.

Two additional bystanders assisted, and Marietta police pursued the suspect, finding a THC vape in his car. Authorities arrested Tucker and charged him with attempted kidnapping and simple assault. The gas station manager said Tucker had been expelled from the property several times before the incident.
