Motorcyclist Dies After Falling Off Los Angeles 105/110 Freeway Connector

A motorcyclist was killed when the bike went over the edge of the 105/110 freeway interchange in Los Angeles and landed on a street below.

Around 11:20 p.m. on Monday, a solo motorcycle crash was reported on the curved connector linking eastbound 105 Freeway to southbound 110 Freeway. The rider fell off the elevated roadway and struck the ground near South Figueroa and West 117th streets. California Highway Patrol officers found the victim at the site and pronounced death at the scene. The interchange was closed for several hours before reopening in the early morning.
