Naked man discovered hiding in ceiling of Fresno plasma donation center

Authorities were dispatched to the Grifols Biomat USA Plasma Center in Fresno after a plasma donor reported seeing someone inside the building’s ceiling. When officers entered, they located a 30-year-old man completely unclothed, trapped in the ceiling space. He refused to emerge, resisted commands, kicked objects and hurled what appeared to be a pipe at an officer, nearly striking the officer’s head.

Police used pepper balls to subdue him, after which he was arrested and transported to a local hospital. The deployment of pepper spray caused it to spread throughout the multi-tenant strip mall, leading to the evacuation of 41 individuals from businesses such as Joyride Insurance, Leslie’s Pool Supplies, Planet Fitness and a hair salon. The suspect now faces charges including felony vandalism, resisting arrest and assault with a deadly weapon.
