In its latest financial release, News Corp announced that fourth-quarter revenue increased 11% to $2.34 billion, surpassing market expectations. Continuing-operation profit reached $230 million, translating to 33 cents per share, a 167% improvement over the prior year, while adjusted earnings were 35 cents per share. The earnings boost stemmed from a 7% rise at Dow Jones, a 19% increase in the real-estate arm and a 15% lift in book publishing revenue.

CEO Robert Thomson credited a focus on core growth engines and a digital-first transformation, noting strategic AI partnerships with OpenAI and Meta. He warned that the company will aggressively pursue entities that misuse its content. For the full fiscal year, net income rose 15% to $743 million and revenue grew 7% to $9.03 billion.
