Nigerian LDS leaders enroll in BYU-Pathway, urging wider educational pursuit
Local bishops, stake presidents and other LDS officials in Nigeria have signed up for BYU-Pathway Worldwide courses, encouraging members to seek higher education.
Church leaders across Nigeria, including bishops, stake presidents, their counselors and Area Seventies, have joined BYU-Pathway Worldwide classes. Their enrollment is meant to model the value of learning for the broader LDS community. The Church’s Africa Newsroom highlighted this effort as a way to promote both academic advancement and spiritual growth. BYU-Pathway offers affordable, online certificates and degrees rooted in the Church’s teachings.
