Nissan reports ¥3.76 billion net profit for April-June quarter

Nissan Motor Co. announced a net profit of 3.76 billion yen for the three months ending June, marking a turnaround in its restructuring plan.

The automaker posted an operating profit of 77.89 billion yen for the April-June period, reversing a loss of 79.12 billion yen recorded a year earlier. Sales increased by 9.5 percent to reach 2.96 trillion yen. Nissan reaffirmed its full-year earnings guidance, still targeting a net profit of 20 billion yen by March 2027.
