Nvidia, Microsoft and other tech firms launch Open Secure AI Alliance

Nvidia announced the creation of the Open Secure AI Alliance, a coalition that includes Microsoft, Dell, SpaceX, the Linux Foundation, HPE and a range of other technology companies. The alliance aims to accelerate the development of open‑source cybersecurity solutions for frontier AI models by sharing model weights, data sets and verification techniques. Participants will contribute tools such as the Safetensors format and cryptographic validation methods. The group also calls on governments to invest in shared open AI infrastructure and to recognize open‑source security standards.
