Panthers open training camp with fan-filled practice and special guest appearance

The Carolina Panthers held their first open practice of the season, inviting fans to watch and featuring a one-day contract for 6-year-old Asher Harvey.

During Friday night’s inaugural open workout, the Panthers ran drills in front of a packed stadium. Young Asher Harvey, who lives with congenital heart disease, entered the field and scored a walk-off touchdown after signing a one-day Make-A-Wish contract. Head coach Dave Canales praised the enthusiastic crowd, while wide receiver Jalen Coker highlighted the team’s culture and winning goals.
