Pennsylvania bus aide arrested after allegedly molesting special-needs student and filming the assault
A 62-year-old school bus aide in Pennsylvania was taken into custody after police say he sexually abused a 14-year-old student with special needs and recorded the incident on his phone.
Police say Ali Khan, a 62-year-old aide on a Bensalem school bus, sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl with special needs during trips to Bensalem High School on Wednesday and Thursday. Surveillance video allegedly depicts Khan draping himself over the student, inappropriately touching her while fastening her seatbelt, and later inserting his hands into his pants while recording the act on his cellphone. The teenager’s parents reported the incident, prompting an investigation that led to Khan’s arrest.
He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, indecent assault and additional offenses. The Bensalem School District declined to comment on specifics but said it is cooperating with the investigation. Khan is being detained at Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post a $50,000 bail.
