PragerU Uses AI to Animate History in White House Exhibit
PragerU partnered with the White House to create an interactive exhibit that uses production AI to bring portraits of the Declaration signers to life.
In collaboration with the White House, PragerU designed the Road to Liberty exhibit for the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, showcasing 83 portraits of the Declaration of Independence signers. Each portrait is paired with a scan-able box that triggers an AI-generated video, allowing figures such as John Hancock to narrate their personal stories. CEO Marissa Streit demanded an engaging format, leading to the adoption of cutting-edge production AI that evolved throughout the project.
The interactive display has been replicated in various schools, state locations, and U.S. embassies worldwide, and the full video series is freely available on PragerU’s site. Additional resources include a comic-style book aimed at upper-elementary and middle-school readers. Streit hinted at a forthcoming initiative intended to compete directly with public-broadcast educational programming.
