Raiders confirm Maxx Crosby cleared for first training-camp reps after knee surgery
Edge rusher Maxx Crosby is cleared to practice at the Raiders' training camp, with head coach Klint Kubiak saying he’s ready to take reps.
The Las Vegas Raiders announced that edge rusher Maxx Crosby will join the first day of training camp despite earlier trade negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens collapsing over knee-related worries. Crosby had surgery in January to repair a torn meniscus and saw limited participation during the offseason, but told the team he felt "almost there" at minicamp. Head coach Klint Kubiak said the player will get a complete set of repetitions in the initial 90-minute practice.
Entering his eighth NFL season, Crosby recorded 10 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 20 quarterback hits and his first career interception in the 2025 campaign. The organization expects his health to continue improving as camp progresses.
Why it matters
Crosby's return impacts the Raiders' pass-rush strength and roster planning for the upcoming season.
