Rau police charge Raja Raghuvanshi's brothers for illegal liquor service at family dhaba

Rau police conducted a verification drive of hospitality establishments and found that Raja Bhoj Dhaba on CAT Road was serving alcohol without a valid licence. DCP Narendra Rawat reported that a complaint under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act was lodged against the dhaba manager, Sachin Raghuvanshi, and other individuals present at the venue. In addition, the establishment’s operator, Vipin Raghuvanshi, faced charges under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for failing to submit employee information as required by police directives.

Both Sachin and Vipin are siblings of Raja Raghuvanshi, whose homicide during his honeymoon in Meghalaya earlier this year sparked a high-profile investigation. Authorities said inspections of hotels, lodges and dhabas will continue, with further action against any venue violating licensing rules or police orders.
