Real Madrid secure Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for €125 million plus add-ons

Real Madrid confirmed a transfer agreement with RB Leipzig for winger Yan Diomande, involving an initial €125 million fee and possible add-ons of €15 million that would break the club's previous record. The contract runs through June 30 2033, linking the 19-year-old to the Spanish side for seven seasons. Diomande impressed in the Bundesliga with 12 league goals, eight assists and leading statistics among wingers for progressive carries and duels won.

Earlier in the summer, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain were reported to have shown interest, but Madrid secured the player. The signing adds to a busy window that also saw arrivals such as Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva and Carlos Espi.
