Reality star Stephen Bear sentenced to 16 months for breaching restraining order

Former reality-TV participant Stephen Bear was sentenced to 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order that prohibited him from posting about his former girlfriend, Georgia Harrison, online. The order stemmed from a 2023 conviction where Bear filmed and shared a private sexual video of the couple without Harrison’s consent, earning him a 21-month term. Between March and July 2025, while Harrison was pregnant, Bear posted a series of abusive messages on Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and Facebook, prompting the court to deem the content "abhorrent and harmful."

Judge Christopher Morgan, who oversaw the original trial, said Bear’s actions were intended to maximise harm and amounted to victim-blaming. In addition to the new jail term, the judge extended the restraining order to bar contact with Harrison’s mother and a close friend, pending a further order. The ruling underscores the legal consequences of online harassment and the protection afforded to victims of non-consensual pornography.
