Reality star Taylor Frankie Paul completes three-year probation after domestic assault case

Taylor Frankie Paul used Instagram to share that a Utah judge has officially ended her three-year probation stemming from a 2023 domestic violence arrest involving ex-partner Dakota Mortensen. She highlighted that probation officers described it as one of the longest for a first-time offense. The reality star had previously entered a guilty plea to assault, a move that allowed related child-abuse charges to be dropped, and the court later downgraded the felony to a Class A misdemeanor.

Paul reflected on the challenges of recognizing domestic violence and thanked supporters for helping her through the ordeal. The case also led to temporary loss of custody of her son Ever and protective orders for both parents. Ongoing custody negotiations with Mortensen and ex-husband Tate Paul remain unresolved, and her planned appearance on "The Bachelorette" was cancelled by one outlet.
