Rosa Mexicano to debut its 10th restaurant and new Pink Door concept in Times Square

Rosa Mexicano announced plans to open its tenth restaurant, located at 120 West 45th Street by Broadway in Times Square, marking its fourth venue in New York City. The 2,800-square-foot space will seat 107 guests and serve the chain’s classic offerings, including tableside guacamole, tacos, enchiladas and fajitas, alongside its traditional tequila, mezcal and agave-forward cocktails such as a frozen pomegranate margarita.

The interior will retain the iconic “divers wall,” an 18-foot-wide, over-6-foot-tall iridescent blue tile installation created by designer David Rockwell and inspired by Acapulco cliff divers. Within the restaurant, a new Pink Door by Rosa Mexicano concept will provide 57 additional seats for both dining and take-out, emphasizing frozen margaritas and other drinks. CEO Rich Zoob called the expansion a natural progression, noting the brand’s origins at Lincoln Center in 1984. The opening is slated for September.
