Rescue crews battled fires and cleared rubble in Balakliia after overnight strikes on residential buildings killed three people. In the northern Sumy region, three more fatalities were reported and at least 19 individuals were wounded, while the city of Sumy saw twelve injuries from guided aerial bombs. A drone strike on a van in Kherson province injured six more. Ukrainian authorities said both sides deny targeting civilians.
