Russian OnlyFans creator receives suspended sentence and three-year internet ban
A 21-year-old Russian OnlyFans model was convicted of producing pornographic videos, fined $60,000 and barred from online activity for three years, while avoiding prison.
In Moscow, OnlyFans star Sofya Vershinina, 21, was found guilty of producing and distributing sexually explicit videos and fined $60,000. After expressing remorse, she received a three-year suspended jail term rather than the three-and-half years prosecutors sought, but she must stay offline for three years, preventing her from running her adult-content business. Authorities also seized her iPhone 16 Pro Max, though previously confiscated sex-toy evidence was returned.
Vershinina, who operated under the name Sonya Marmeladova and reportedly earned over $400,000, lived in a high-end penthouse while selling material on Telegram. Her sentencing follows a Kremlin-wide crackdown on pornographic content ordered by President Vladimir Putin, which has already led to the detention of other Russian models such as Diana Shurygina and Anastasia Ovsyannikova.
