Samsung QS90H Soundbar Delivers Full Bass Without a Separate Subwoofer

Samsung’s QS90H soundbar adds five drivers to the earlier QS700F design, making the unit about 3.5 inches wider and housing a total of 13 speakers, including a dual-side Quad Bass subwoofer that handles the dedicated subwoofer channel internally. The bar retains the familiar top grille and center-mounted controls, while introducing Convertible Fit, a gyro-based system that detects whether the bar is flat or wall-mounted and adjusts the driver configuration accordingly.

SpaceFit Sound Pro can calibrate the room’s acoustics using built-in microphones, even when the bar is connected to non-Samsung TVs. Additional capabilities include wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony audio expansion, AI Dynamic Bass Control, Adaptive Sound, and Game Mode Pro, though some features require a Samsung TV to function fully. In real-world use, the QS90H delivers pronounced bass comparable to a separate subwoofer and provides convincing surround effects for small-to-medium living spaces, positioning it as a premium all-in-one alternative to competitors like Sonos Arc Ultra and Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar.
