Scottie Scheffler clinches $10 million bonus for topping FedExCup regular season

Scottie Scheffler emerged as the leader of the FedExCup points leaderboard after the PGA Tour's regular season, qualifying for a $10 million bonus that is excluded from official earnings. The Tour's bonus system allocates a total of $20 million to the top ten finishers, with the second-place player Matt Fitzpatrick slated to receive $4 million and the tenth-place finisher Ludvig Åberg set for $500,000. Scheffler's achievement adds to his record of topping the regular-season standings in four of the last five years.

Other beneficiaries include Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Chris Gotterup, Collin Morikawa, Si Woo Kim, Sam Burns, and Tommy Fleetwood. The previous Comcast Business top-ten award, which paid $40 million, is no longer part of the program. The bonuses precede the three-event FedExCup Playoffs that will conclude the season.
