Sean Duffy’s Promised ‘Great American Road Trip’ TV Series Still Unreleased

Sean Duffy, serving as Secretary of Transportation, and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy announced a family-focused online series titled The Great American Road Trip, promising to film their travels with their nine children. The venture was said to be funded by sizable contributions from corporations regulated by Duffy’s department and was promoted as a counterpoint to what Campos-Duffy described as a “Pornhub world.” The show was linked to a Trump-aligned Freedom250 event and was slated to debut in June.
As of early August, the series has not released any episodes, leaving the promised “key initiative” of the Transportation Department unrealized. The lack of progress raises questions about the use of public-sector resources for a private family production.
