Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed claims Instagram feeds flood with OnlyFans clips

A recording posted by RNC Research shows Michigan Democratic Senate contender Abdul El-Sayed complaining that Instagram automatically serves him an OnlyFans model about every third video that scrolls by. He argued the algorithm bases the content on his age and gender, not on what he or his staff actually view. El-Sayed, a 40-year-old progressive, has centered his campaign on re-engaging young men who shifted to Donald Trump’s camp in the last election.

He previously warned that Democrats suffer an “epidemic” of alienating this demographic. The remarks surfaced amid a primary race where attack ads have portrayed him as disrespectful toward women, a label he rejects as a racist trope. El-Sayed entered primary day as the frontrunner, leading in a recent Emerson College poll, though the same poll shows him trailing Republican Mike Rogers in a general-election matchup.
