Senior Lashkar-e-Taiba commander collapses and dies in Islamabad after meal

Qari Saeed Abdul Aziz, a senior figure in Lashkar-e-Taiba responsible for communications and financial support to families of militants, died under mysterious circumstances in Islamabad on August 8. He had reportedly dined at an unknown location before heading to a mosque, where he collapsed at the gate and was pronounced dead on the spot. The local administration has not dismissed the possibility of poisoning, though medical experts caution that a sudden health crisis is also plausible.
