Senior Manhattan lawyer placed on leave after viral park make-out video

Nathaniel Cullerton, a 45-year-old partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, was placed on administrative leave after a TikTok video showing him passionately kissing associate Kelsey Borenzweig in Central Park went viral, amassing millions of views. The clip, recorded by TikTok user Jay Guapõ, captured the two lawyers on a bench before Guapõ interrupted them, urging them to find privacy. Cullerton, who is married to Moira Penza, had been preparing to join a wave of attorneys moving to rival firm Gibson Dunn, but the transition was suspended following the scandal.
The firm has not confirmed whether Borenzweig is also under investigation or on leave. Both attorneys’ biographies remain listed on the firm’s website as of Tuesday. The incident highlights potential reputational risks for high-profile law firms when personal conduct becomes public on social media.
