Snooki opens up about tough recovery after hysterectomy surgery

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi announced on TikTok that she has undergone a hysterectomy, posting a thumbs-up from a hospital bed with the caption “We did it Joe. Hysterectomy✅.” She also shared a picture of her first post-surgery meal, a serving of curly fries drenched in ketchup, and responded to comments that she is finding the recovery period challenging.

Fans and former “Jersey Shore” co-star Sammi Giancola offered encouragement, praising her strength. Earlier, Polizzi had posted a video on the day of surgery showing her being driven to the hospital by her parents and expressing terror about the procedure. She explained that doctors removed her uterus, cervix, and portions of her vagina to ensure all cancerous tissue was eliminated, and she expressed sadness about no longer being able to have more children. Polizzi is a mother of three—Lorenzo Dominic, 13, Giovanna Marie, 11, and Angelo James, 7—with husband Jionni LaValle.
