Stabbing at Luxury Upper East Side Co-op Leaves Woman Hospitalized
A woman in her mid-fifties was attacked with a knife inside a high-end Upper East Side apartment building and taken to Weill Cornell Hospital in stable condition.
Police say a 66-year-old woman assaulted a 56-year-old resident at a upscale co-op on 210 East 73rd Street around midday. The victim suffered a stomach wound and was transported to Weill Cornell Hospital, where she remains stable. The suspect was detained by authorities, and the building’s doorman reported the incident occurring near 12:30 p.m.
