Study Finds Nearly Half of U.S. Workers Have Sex at Work on National Orgasm Day

In celebration of National Orgasm Day, Bloom Stories released a survey revealing that 47% of U.S. employees have sexual encounters during work hours, and 28% achieve orgasm while on the job. Lemon Meyer, a sex specialist for the company, explained that changing the setting—from a desk to a kitchen counter or an outdoor spot—can heighten arousal and potentially increase productivity and wellbeing. The research identified cars, gardens, public venues like gyms or airplane bathrooms, and even underwater locations as common places for these activities.

Younger workers, especially those in their twenties, are increasingly seeking jobs that provide private spaces for such behavior. Meyer stressed the importance of safety, clear communication, and respecting public decency laws. The findings suggest a cultural shift toward more permissive attitudes about intimacy in the workplace.
