Supernatural to relaunch VR fitness platform as independent service with new pricing

Following Meta's decision to pause new content and reduce staff for the VR workout service, Supernatural is preparing to relaunch as an independent company later this year. Leanne Pedante, a founding coach and current Head of Fitness, confirmed that the app will bring back its catalog of over 3,000 workouts, retain the same coaches and immersive scenery, and resume releasing fresh sessions. Pricing will return to the original $20 monthly or $200 annual fee, though a special founding-member offer of $180 for the first year is available.

The small, flat-structured team says it can act quickly, exemplified by the creation of a scholarship scheme that will grant quarterly assistance to members in need. Pedante also mentioned exploring fitness experiences beyond headsets, such as camera-based systems like Nex Playground, to broaden community engagement.
