Tate brothers' lawyers ask Miami judge to grant bail pending UK extradition

Lawyers representing Andrew Tate, 39, and Tristan Tate, 38, have filed a motion in a Miami federal court urging U.S. Magistrate Judge Lauren Louis to grant them bail while the United Kingdom pursues extradition. Citing the brothers' "extraordinary public visibility" as a deterrent to escape, the filing proposes surrendering passports and accepting location monitoring as conditions. The pair were taken into custody on July 18 after the Crown Prosecution Service announced fresh allegations of rape, assault and facilitating sexual-exploitation trafficking involving four alleged victims between 2010 and 2017.
The Miami U.S. Attorney's Office is expected to respond to the bail request by August 10, with a hearing scheduled for August 13. Britain must submit its complete extradition request to the State Department by September 16, according to court records. The case adds another chapter to the Tates' ongoing legal battles in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
