Teen from Delhi alleges repeated rape by friend at Gurgaon hotel, pregnancy triggers case

A 17-year-old Delhi girl reported that a friend repeatedly assaulted her at a Gurgaon hotel, a complaint that surfaced after she was found pregnant.

Authorities registered a POCSO complaint following accusations by a 17-year-old girl from Delhi that her friend repeatedly raped her at a hotel in Sikanderpur, Gurgaon, from early January to late March 2026. The victim, who lives with her family in a rented flat in Vikas Nagar and hails from Samastipur, Bihar, became pregnant, and a hospital informed police after confirming the pregnancy. A Zero FIR was initially filed at Ranhola police station in Delhi, after which the case was transferred to the DLF Phase-1 police station.

The FIR cites Section 64(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 6 of the POCSO Act. Investigators are reviewing the hotel's logs and conducting raids on suspected hideouts, stating that the accused will be apprehended soon. The victim's identity remains confidential under Supreme Court guidelines on sexual assault cases.
