Teen in clown costume taken into custody after fatal stabbing in East St. Louis

The deceased, identified as John Wesley Allen Sr., was discovered shortly after 10 p.m. with multiple stab wounds, according to the St. Clair County Coroner’s Office.
Illinois State Police located the 15-year-old at a separate residence and took him into custody.
