Texas officer pulls driver from burning Nissan just seconds before blaze
A Texas police officer rescued a motorist whose Nissan Altima ignited on Highway 114 in Southlake, pulling him out moments before the car burst into flames.
While handling an unrelated traffic stop, Officer Swisher was alerted to a vehicle smoking heavily on Highway 114. He stopped his patrol car, sprinted to the scene and extracted the driver from the Nissan Altima just as flames began to lick the vehicle. The driver escaped unharmed, though the officer suffered minor burns to arm hair. Dashcam and body-camera footage captured the rapid response.
