The fourth annual CareSource Invitational will take place on Oct. 7 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, where the venue will be converted into a basketball-style arena for the first time. The Dayton Flyers are scheduled to meet Xavier at 5:30 p.m., following a 3 p.m. opener between Ohio State and Cincinnati. Tickets, beginning at $29 for the 400 level, are now on sale via Ticketmaster.com. Organizers note that inclement weather would shift the games to UD Arena. The event supports mental-health awareness and raises money for nonprofit groups such as Jay's Light, having generated over $500,000 to date.
