Toddler recovered after kidnapping during Van Nuys home invasion
Police say a 3-year-old boy taken during a home invasion in Van Nuys on Wednesday morning was located later that day.
Officers responded at 8:13 a.m. to a report of a break-in at a residence on the 7600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. The suspect fled with the child in a black Ford Explorer lacking a license plate. The boy was found around 12:30 p.m., though authorities have not disclosed where or how he was recovered.
