Total solar eclipse on Aug. 12 to be studied with jet and balloon missions over Iceland, Spain and Greenland
On Aug. 12 a total solar eclipse will sweep from the Arctic down to the Mediterranean, delivering up to two minutes and 18 seconds of total darkness over Spain, Iceland and a slice of Greenland.
