Tottenham blocks Rangers loan, pushes Mikey Moore toward Bundesliga move

Rangers pursued a repeat loan for 18-year-old striker Mikey Moore, who impressed with seven goals and four assists in 47 Scottish Premiership appearances last season. Tottenham, however, declined to send him back to Ibrox, saying a different challenge would aid his development. Moore is linked with a move to Bundesliga side FC Köln, a destination he favors if he leaves England, while newly promoted Premier League clubs also show interest.

No deal has been finalized, and the situation remains fluid. Manager Derek McInnes, who succeeded Danny Rohl, still needs to bolster his attack as Rangers prepare for a Europa League qualifier in Poland and a domestic clash with Hibernian. The club has already added several players this summer and is also targeting Frosinone forward Fares Ghedjemis, competing with Celtic for his signature.
