Donald Trump turned to his Truth Social platform on Saturday to launch a visual jab at Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and his spouse, Dr. Sarah Jukaku, pairing a photo of the Trumps with one of the El-Sayed couple and adding a caption riddled with errors that declared “Two VERY DIFFERENT America’s.” The post specifically identified the candidate by his full name, a tactic reminiscent of Trump’s earlier emphasis on Barack Obama’s middle name.

The criticism comes after El-Sayed’s upset victory in Michigan’s Democratic primary, which sparked anger among Trump’s base due to the candidate’s open use of the Arabic term “inshallah” during his election-night address. Trump’s supporters have also labeled El-Sayed “full of s--t” and warned voters about his stance on the filibuster. El-Sayed, an epidemiologist and former public-health official, has brushed off the president’s remarks as baseless. The couple, who met at the University of Michigan, have two daughters, Emmalee and Serene, and Jukaku appears in El-Sayed’s book about politics and personal health.
