Tubi surpasses 110 million users and posts record quarterly revenue
Tubi, the free streaming service owned by Fox, now reports over 110 million monthly users and its strongest revenue quarter ever.
Fox’s ad-supported streaming platform Tubi has climbed to over 110 million monthly active users, according to CEO Anjali Sud, and is set to reveal its most lucrative quarter on record. The service now exceeds $1 billion in yearly revenue, a milestone driven by a strategy that emphasizes free, on-demand entertainment without subscription fees. Sud pointed to a 20-million-viewer World Cup hub as a key catalyst for the quarter’s performance and described ongoing initiatives in sports streaming, creator-led originals, and podcasting via the Red Seat Ventures unit.
She also noted that advertisers are attracted to the platform’s engaged, mobile-first audience. Tubi’s growth is prompting other major players, such as Disney and Netflix, to explore similar ad-supported offerings. The company plans to leverage its ties to Fox’s sports assets and upcoming Roku acquisition to broaden its content and advertising inventory.
Why it matters
Tubi's surge shows free, ad-supported streaming can rival subscription models, reshaping how audiences and advertisers engage with video content.
