Ukrainian Air Force loses an F-16 in crash, pilot rescued safely
Ukraine's Air Force reported that an F-16 fighter went down during a frontline mission, but the pilot survived after ejecting.
The Ukrainian Air Force said an F-16 was on a sortie to intercept Russian aircraft when a malfunction forced it to crash. The pilot ejected, was recovered unharmed and taken to a medical facility for care. Officials are investigating the crash site. The aircraft is among the U.S.-made jets supplied by NATO members such as the Netherlands and Denmark.
