Victorian Liberals nominate deputy lord mayor Roshena Campbell for state ballot
The Victorian Liberal Party has chosen former federal contender Roshena Campbell to replace Moira Deeming as its candidate for the Western Metropolitan Region.
Roshena Campbell, who currently serves as Melbourne's deputy lord mayor, secured the top spot on the Liberal ticket after defeating sitting MP Trung Luu. The party made the switch after revoking Moira Deeming's candidacy due to an assault allegation. Campbell will now stand for election in the Western Metropolitan Region.
